If your class or program uses Pocket Prep, your instructor or admin will send you a unique license via email. Once you receive your invite, follow the steps below to connect your license to your Pocket Prep account, whether you’re creating a new account or using an existing one.
💡 Tip: If you currently have a personal subscription, you can cancel it after activating your license.
For New Accounts
Open your email invite and click the “Activate License Code” button.
You’ll be taken to a create account page.
Fill in your first and last name. Your email address will already be filled in — it’s linked to your license automatically.
Your account will default to using a magic link for sign-in (click to log in via email). Prefer to use a password? Click “Create a password” under the email text box.
Review and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then click “Start Studying.”
You’ll see a confirmation message letting you know your Premium license is active — you’re ready to study!
Download the Pocket Prep app for the best study experience.
Search for “Pocket Prep” and your exam name in the App Store or Google Play.
Look for the Pocket Prep logo to ensure you download the correct app.
Your progress will always sync automatically across web and mobile, so you can study anywhere.
For Existing Accounts
If you already have a Pocket Prep account using the same email address your instructor used, follow these steps:
Confirm that the email on your existing account matches the one your instructor used. You can check this in Settings → Account on web or mobile.
Open your email invite and click “Sign in.”
Log in with your existing Pocket Prep credentials.
You’ll be taken directly to the Exam Settings page with your license pre-filled.
Click “Activate.” If your name isn’t pre-filled, enter it before activating so your instructor can identify your account.
✅ You’ve successfully activated your license! Enjoy Premium access provided by your organization.
Manually Apply a License Code
If you want to use a different email than the one your instructor used — or you prefer not to use the email link — you can manually activate your license code.
On the Web
Log in to your account at study.pocketprep.com.
Click your profile name → Settings → Exams.
Click “+ Activate License Code.”
Enter your first name, last name, and the license code from your email invite.
Click “Activate.”
On Mobile
Open the Pocket Prep app and sign in.
Go to Settings → Edit Subscription → Exams tab.
Tap “+ Activate License Code.”
Enter your first name, last name, and license code, then tap “Activate.”
✅ You’ve successfully activated your license! Enjoy Premium access provided by your organization.
