When in doubt, reinstall the app

For our mobile app users, deleting the app and reinstalling a fresh copy fixes the majority of common technical issues, including ones pertaining to QOTD. For web-based customers, try clearing your browser cache. If you still experience issues with QOTD after reinstalling or clearing your cache, please read on.

Make sure your device's clock is automatic

Some customers have reported issues with QOTD and how it interacts with your device when manually changing the clock. We recommend setting your clock to automatically update as this may prevent potential device/cloud conflicts.

For iOS users:

  1. From your home screen, navigate to Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap Date & Time
  4. Make sure that the option Set Automatically is turned on
  5. If this option is turned off, check that the correct Date, Time and Time Zone are selected

For Android users:

  1. Tap Settings to open the device's Settings menu
  2. Tap Date & Time
  3. Tap Automatic
  4. If this option is turned off, check that the correct Date, Time and Time Zone are selected

I'm not getting QOTD notifications

If you're on iOS, make sure you opted to receive push notifications from us. If you initially declined, you won't be eligible for study reminders or QOTD notifications. You can change this in your device settings.
